Building on the Foundations

Permaculture exists on a spectrum among people.

Some wish to change their yards, some wish to change their lives,

some wish to change their world.

Now that we have the foundational concepts (energy and patterns) in mind, let’s move forward.

Permaculture can be split into two aspects, spatial  - things that can be touched (home or land management for example) and social - things that are more conceptual (The way we think, act, and organize, along with the customs, norms and mores of our society for example).

Permaculture is applicable to all areas of life. From the nearest, most frequented areas and activities, to the furthest and rarest. From inside the head, to inside the home, to the yard, to the work space and beyond, just like the spatial, or land management aspect of permaculture works in zones, the social aspect (domestic, societal, and occupational etc.) also works in zones.

In this section, we will address the social aspect of permaculture. Land management, beyond following the ethics and principles, is unique and specific to each situation. If you would like to rethink your land or spacial needs, with permaculture in mind, we can help, please contact us...
